This week's ice storm caused tree limbs and debris to accumulate around the city. To help, City officials have announced that the City's Collection Site at 500 Aaron Street will be open next week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Athens residents can dump storm debris for free during these times.

This is for city residents only. Proof of residency must be provided with the resident's most recent water bill.

Only brush and tree limbs will be accepted during these times.

The Collection Site will open for normal operations on Saturday, Feb. 11.
