Filing Closed for May 6 Election
Filing has closed for the May 6 Athens City Council election, and candidates met at City Hall Tuesday morning to draw for ballot order.
The following candidates will be on the ballot:
Mayor
* Aaron "Bubba" Smith
* Elvis Allen
City Council, Place 1
* Mark Carroll
* William E. Smith
